We've been told it can't be done, they said it is like shooting arrows at the moon: Empowering the rural poor in Africa to educate their children and break the cycle of poverty and illiteracy? Impossible they said.
We have set out to bring about a positive change in the world, how we perceive it, and participate in it. We accept that we are not isolated from one another, even though it is more "comfortable" to think so. Our social status, race, gender, continent, religion, and/or situation are unimportant when it comes to our potential to positively affect the lives of others. We humbly admit the belief in a power of greater good that flourishes in a heart that seeks God. We recognize God in all things and all people. We choose to not sit idle.
We will GO AND DO.
I DARE YOU
Breaking the Tether of Poverty & Illiteracy
Water and food may get you through the day but it takes social change through education to break the cycle of poverty and Illiteracy which holds people captive to hopelessness
