Support Our Volunteers
Our concerns are many. Working both locally and abroad the path of our river is determined
by the terrain presented to us as we move forward. Though our course may veer right or left,
the destination remains the same. We will GO AND DO Likewise.
Student Scholarship Candidates - Rionchogu
16. Jackline N. - Candidate
Age 16, 3 sisters 2 brothers, father and mother are peasant farmers. Jackline is repeating form 2 due to poverty. Hopes to be a nurse. Jackline was not in program last year and had to leave school because of lack of fees. Leisure time helps parents and reads.

17. Isaac O. - Candidate
Age 16, 3 brothers 1 sister, parents are peasant farmers with a small farm. Hopes to continue to university to become a doctor. Leisure time singing Gospel songs and reading.

18. Caleb O. - Candidate
Age 15, 3 brothers 3 sisters, father and mother are peasant farmers. His goal is to become an agricultural officer so he can come back to the village and teach them more efficient ways to farm.

19. Haron (Arron) M. - Candidate
Haron (Arron) Mwanga, Age 16, youngest of 7 children 4 brothers and 2 sisters, Father and mother are peasant farmers, none of his siblings were able to go to school due to lack of funds and food, he is in final year of high school and hopes to go to University to become a judge or to help solve villages cases fairly.

20. Joshua M. - Candidate
Age 14, 2 brothers and two sisters parents are both deceased, siblings live alone and care for the family. He is in the third year of school and hopes to become a computer engineer and help the village bring light of communication to the area.

21. Bosire J. - Candidate
Age 16, 2 brother 2 sisters, both parents are peasant farmers. He has a B+ average and expects to be able to go to University. His goal is to be a surgeon and help those women who have births with deformities, He likes music and wants to learn to play the piano.

23. Job O. - Candidate
Age 16, father is a guard, mother a peasant farmer and cares for her children. His goal is to become a teacher. Job spends his spare time reading and looking after his father's goat.

24. Janet O. - Candidate
Age 16, 2 sisters, Parents are both peasant farmers they raise tea and maize. Janet likes reading and wants to improve her languages so she can become a lawyer and help the community develop.

Age 17, Verah has 1 brother and 2 sisters. Her father is a farmer and mother a housewife.

26. Susan O. - Candidate
Age 15, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Father is a carpenter and mother is a peasant farmer and cares for children. Susan's goal is to be teacher and return and teach the many children in the villages.

Age 18, parents are peasant farmers, and has 1 sister. Bernard is in vocational school to learn driving.

Age 13, 2 brothers and 3 sisters, father is a shoe repair man and her mother is in small business of selling tomatoes because she is one of the GAD Kenya micro business women. Her goal is to become a lawyer. Rose likes to spend leisure time singing and reading.
