Our next visit to the village will leave Los Angeles International Airport on September 15, 2010. The cost for this trip is $2000.00 plus your air fare.
We will visit London on the way and stay overnight in Nairobi before we leave early on the 18th for the village. Our return date to Los Angeles is September 26, 2010 go to the link below for preparation and packing information.
Shopping and souvenirs will be on your own. The opportunity remains for you to take advantage of a potential Masi Mara excursion (Safari). Such a side trip will be in addition to your expedition fees.
Be sure you print the travel suggestions and complete the application. No fees will be accepted without a completed application on file with us..

Checklist Of Things You Must Do When Going on a GADL - Kenya Expedition

Immediate action: Expedition application with signed waiver and release form. If you are under 18, both
parents or legal guardian must sign this form.

Immediate action: Apply for a passport. If you already have a passport, it must be valid for a month after your return date. As
soon as you have your passport number, send it to bud_goanddo@yahoo.com along with your expiration date
and date of birth for the emergency medical and evacuation insurance.
Immediate action: Make sure you are current on all your childhood immunizations.
The following are recommended for your trip to Kenya:
- Hepatitis A and B
- Typhoid
- Tetanus
- Yellow fever
- Polio booster if you are over 18 and haven’t had one
since you were a child.
- Prescription for an anti-malarial medication from your doctor.
Visit the
Centers for Disease Control website at wwwn.cdc.gov/travel/destinationKenya.aspx#vaccines for current
information on required immunizations.
6 weeks before departure: Make initial payment in the amount of $2,000 to Go and Do Likewise.
Approximately a month before the departure date: Bud will arrange a conference call where all expedition members can be updated on the latest travel
information, tips for packing and preparing for the expedition. Information on conference call will come by
email.
3 weeks before departure: Pay remaining balance due for your trip.
2 weeks before departure: Begin packing. Verify all required personal information has been sent to GADL
