The spring missions for 2012 are planned, you can be added if air travel space is available however it will likely be more expensive than the current travelers are paying. We have a group leaving on April 1, 2012 from Los Angeles and a group leaving May 17, 2012 from Dallas/Fort Worth. The next potential mission date; Fall 2012, details to come. Immediate action: Apply for a passport. If you already have a passport, it must be valid for a month after your return date. As soon as you have your passport number, send it to bud_goanddo@yahoo.com along with your expiration date and date of birth for the emergency medical and evacuation insurance.
Immediate action: Make sure you are current on all your childhood immunizations.
The following are recommended for your trip to Kenya:
Hepatitis A and B
Typhoid
Tetanus
Yellow fever
Polio booster if you are over 18 and haven't had one since you were a child.
Prescription for an anti-malarial medication from your doctor.
8 weeks before departure or as required for airfare payment: Make initial payment in the amount of $2,000 to Go and Do Likewise.
Approximately a month before the departure date: Bud will arrange a conference call where all expedition members can be updated on the latest travel information, tips for packing and preparing for the expedition. Information on conference call will come by email.
4 weeks before departure: Pay remaining balance due for your trip.
